Deborah was born outside London and received early exposure to global styles, cultures and thinking having lived in four European countries (England, Greece, Italy and Germany) before relocating to the United States to attend university. Deborah earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Administration from the University of South Carolina. Despite a very rewarding career managing psychiatric and cancer hospital programs, Deborah had a determined disinterest in reentering the healthcare job market after relocating to New York.

In pursuit of her creative talents, she established a textile company serving discriminating clients from East Hampton to Manhattan including Fifth Avenue’s Henri Bendel. Deborah later expanded the business to a comprehensive design service and launched her eponymous design firm in 2002. Travel and fashion are favorite distractions as well as sources of inspiration for her design work. Deborah resides on Long Island’s North Shore and maintains a seaside villa on the Greek island made famous by the discovery of the Venus de Milo. A Manhattan apartment enables her to work with city clients and to access design resources uniquely available in that location.
